The Nikka Yoichi 700ML is a bold and robust single malt expression from the Yoichi Distillery, founded by Masataka Taketsuru in 1934. Its flavors are refined with a smoky and peaty taste, created through traditional direct coal-fired distillation. The sea breeze from Ishikari Bay adds a briny touch during the maturation process. This no-age-statement release was launched in 2016 and embodies the authentic style of Yoichi malts, blending various malt whiskies for a balance of peat, smoke, and fruit notes.
